Friends

I'm a freak of nature I'm not like others.
I'm full of emotion sometimes it smothers.
I'm terrified of others thinking I'm a freak.
If anyone found out I'd be a runt, weak.
This is why I'm shy, quiet and don't speak.
I want to run away, go to a new town
Because I'm afraid of one thing, that I'll shut down,
Lose track focus and can't be found.
I think that's what I want just to be lost.
To start over, be normal, but is it worth the cost
Of losing my friends, they cant just be tossed.
They're everything the world to me.
They're always there to help me see
Who I really am and what I can be.
